The Boulder City United Methodist Church will be welcoming a new pastor on July 1. Her name is Reverend Kimber Govett. Reverend Govett, and her husband, Stephen, are both United Methodist pastors. He will be pastoring a church in Las Vegas. She comes to Boulder City by way of Phoenix, AZ. She spent a great deal of her time in the Greater New Jersey Conference of the UMC.
Reverend Michael Eaton, who had led the church for the last two years was appointed to a new church in Payson, AZ. He began working at his new position last month. During the interim period, the church and its congregants are being served by Reverend Jungren Chung. He is a retired elder and member of Green Valley United Methodist Church.
