The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking further public input on the Sustainable Low Water Access Plan (SLWAP). The next opportunity to do so is the week of July 10. In 2022, there were 1049 public comments submitted in the first round of public scoping in the winter of 2022.
The public has the opportunity to discuss the various options being considered. There will be one virtual meeting and two in person meetings – one in Boulder City and the other in Kingman. The dates and times for the meetings are as follows:
- Virtual – Monday, July 10, 2023: 5-6 p.m., Pacific Standard Time
- Boulder City, NV – Tuesday, July 11, 2023: 5-7 p.m. Pacific Standard Time at Boulder City Recreation Center; 900 Arizona St., Boulder City, NV
- Kingman, AZ – Wednesday, July 12, 2023: 5-7 p.m., Pacific Standard Time at the Beale Celebrations Building, 201 N. 4th Street, Kingman, AZ
