We recently had a lovely afternoon with Kristen Byers, the owner of The Vanity Boutique. The salon is located at 1007-A Elm Street. Mrs. Byers and her assistant, Hailey Powell, provide a wide range of pampering services. Some of those services including aesthetic procedures like facials, dermaplaning, manicures, pedicures, waxing, eyelash extensions, yoni steam treatments, and more! Services are scheduled by appointment by texting (702) 439-4495. Private appointments are booked daily, with limited evening appointments, as well.
The charming suite is divided into several spaces. The entry is the boutique, where you can find unique clothing like t-shirts, kimonos, cover ups and other types of beautiful casual wear. She also keeps skin care and beauty products, jewelry, snacks, teas, purses on hand for private shopping experiences for customers. Are you a Real Housewife of Boulder City? She has a hat for you! The number and quality of her offerings are so many and fun! You can certainly find something for a special occasion here, and treat yourself as well.
Behind the boutique are the treatment rooms where you will be pampered in style! There are private areas for facials and waxing and a separate area where manicures and pedicures are given. The space is warm and inviting, while still maintaining the private feel of a luxury salon.
Mrs. Byers noted that she buys her products locally to support other businesses. For example, she has a beautiful pair of barn doors separating the boutique from the treatment rooms that were constructed by Ruben’s Wood Craft and Toys. She also occasionally does pop up events with other local businesses when the suitable opportunity arises. Mrs. Byers became an aesthetician before turning 30 and started at Serenity Salon. She went back to cosmetology school to learn to do nails and graduated in November 2019 and decided to open her own business. Building the store took several months, until May 2020 – during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the restrictions imposed on her business, it thrived! So much so that she asked Hailey Powell (Healing with Hailey) to join her in her endeavors. Hailey also works as an aesthetician and performs services like lash extensions, lash lifts, facials and waxing. She is available by appointment at The Vanity on Thursdays and Sundays.
