I have some more details for you on a new series of events this summer…the “Wine Walk” through Downtown Boulder City.
Think of it as one of our fun pub crawls…but instead of going only to the local taverns – it will include businesses, as well (provided they are Chamber members and elect to participate).
Timed with the four “Movies in the Park” showings that will be held in Bicentennial Park (see that post here), Wine Walk guests will pay $25 for a commemorative glass and then follow their map to whichever participating businesses they choose and have it filled with a sample (plus, we hear some businesses will have apps to munch on, too). At each stop, you’ll have the business sign a Bingo card that will enter guests into a raffle, too.
The businesses are being lined up – but they’ll included stops along Nevada Way (from Colorado to Wyoming, I think…as well as businesses on Arizona, Wyoming and Avenue B). So if you are a business in the Downtown area and want to invite folks to visit your store to shop or just meet & greet you (if you are a service, for instance) from 4-7 on the inaugural event (June 14th) – just give Julie McAnany a call at (775) 753-2925 and she can get you hooked up!
