The 14th Annual Las Vegas Triathlon will be taking over our neck of the woods on September 25th and if you’re thinking of registering, you’ve got about a week left before the Early Bird rates expire on August 22nd.
The swim portion of the event is at Boulder Beach on Lake Mead and both the bikes and run portions are within the Lake Mead National Park, so the scenery will be beautiful as always.
The Hacienda Hotel is the host hotel and for bookings prior to Sept. 12th, offering $39.95 per night (+ tax, of course) room rates for the triathletes, plus if you stay Friday and Saturday, Sunday night is free.
Mountain Man Events is looking for volunteers to help set up the course, direct traffic, run the aid stations and cheer on the athletes, so if you would like to help in any way, they’d be glad to hear from you…just send an email to eddie@mountainmanevents.com.
