Meet Reiki Master, Joan Robinson and her new business Amethyst Reiki!
Lovely Joan has joined the wellness team over at Clear Paths Reflexology, located at 1000 Nevada Way, Suite 203.
If you’re not familiar with Reiki energy healing, it’s a technique based upon the principal that a trained therapist can help activate the natural healing energy of a patient, and help restore physical and emotional well-bring. In Japanese, its literal translation is ‘universal life energy.’
Personally, I’d never had a session, and we received a short one from Joan this week.
What I can tell you is this –
As soon as I lied down on her treatment table I felt relaxed and able to breathe, a real gift in itself…and gosh are her hands warm! I can tell you I definitely felt the relaxing power of that experience.
Reiki is commonly used to help address stress, low energy, depression, anxiety and a variety of issues surrounding overall physical and emotional health.
Reiki is performed at hospitals and clinics all across the country, and we found it available at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Joan says she can also do remote healing and that the practice is also beneficial for your pets too!
What’s nice, is that its non-invasive and you receive a treatment fully dressed. So it’s good for people who may not be able to have a massage, such as the elderly.
A typical session is 60 minutes and costs around $60.
