We’re all thrilled that the furlough is over (we hope for good) and our Lake Mead National Rec. Area is back into the swing of things!
It’s taking them a while to catch up and get their events planned again, but this weekend we wanted to be sure you knew about a couple of Ranger Talks they have planned:
Ranger Program: Constellation Tour – Stars and their Stories, Feb 9
Join rangers at the Boulder Beach Picnic Area 7 p.m. Feb. 9 to explore the stories of the stars and constellations that make up our night sky. For more information, call 702-293-8990.
Ranger Chat: Bugs and Blooms, Feb 10
Stop by the Lake Mead Visitor Center at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Feb. 10 to learn more about the interrelated and dynamic relationships wildflowers and insects in the Mojave Desert share. For more information, call 702-293-8990.
We’ll be in touch later when they’ll have their March events roster out for us, but in the meantime, we know those awesome Park Rangers would be happy to see us down for a visit!
