The Boulder Beach Campground Loop D is closed currently and undergoing a $3.4 million renovation and facelift.
What’s all the fuss, you ask?
The campgrounds have been undergoing a series of renovations, and this last loop with 73 campsites on it is the final phase.
Construction is expected to be completed by April 27th, but the rest of the campground area is still open, with plenty of nice spaces with shade, fire pits and everything you need including great views of the lake.
There will be an annoying point when they start to re-do the lavatory facilities, but the park can give you plenty of info on that from their web site HERE.
The remodel will improve the existing concrete pads so they can accommodate modern RV’s, plus spiffy up the picnic tables and grills and add shaded structures too.
It’s our fee dollars at work!
