Ok – I confess – I’m an Amazon Prime member. And I’m betting that a huge portion of you reading this article right now, are too.
I love their live streaming service, and value their content. I also do love having the convenience of online shopping and fast delivery times, when I need it. So, I’m a member.
That said, in our family we really do as much as we can to shop local and support all of our merchants, including…yes…Albertsons grocery store locally.
But, we all know it sure would be nice if we had some other options in town. I miss Central Market and I bet most of you do too. So, when a friend sent me a link to request that Amazon Fresh expand its existing service in Las Vegas into Boulder City, I thought this was worth a share.
Turns out, it is actually pretty easy to do. Even if you’re not a Prime member or avid Amazon shopper, you can still contact them at this link HERE, (you do have to have an account though, and be logged in). Then use the Chat-bot option. Simply follow the prompts, and request to speak to someone about requesting Amazon Fresh in our area – 89005 Boulder City, NV. It might take a few minutes, but soon you’ll be chatting with a real human, and they will record your request that they consider providing Amazon Fresh grocery delivery service in Boulder City. That’s it – you’re done.
Again, don’t get me wrong. I shop Albertsons regularly, and sometimes other grocers over the hill. If you’re not aware of it, our Albertsons store does a HECK OF A LOT to support some of our non-profits here in town, such as the Senior Center and Emergency Aid. They are GREAT local partners, and we want to keep them here!
We just wanted to spread the word that this service was available, and to see if there was enough interest that it might be a good option for us in BC to have too.
