The coupon exchange has gotten underway at the Albertsons Customer Service counter…it’s pretty cool.
They’ve got two rows of boxes lined up and have labeled them by aisle, i.e. Aisle Nine: Ice Cream, Pizza, Frozen Treats, Snacks, Ice Cream Toppings & Seafood. So you just come in, look through the box of coupons for things you have on your shopping list and take the coupons you want.
Of course, bringing in your own coupons to contribute to the exchange is always appreciated. I think you can even just leave your clipped coupons and they’ll sort them into the right boxes for you (nice, since they know their aisles way better than we do).
They do ask that you check the expiration dates on any coupons you want to use — they assume no responsibility for coupons that have expired, of course…that would be too hard to manage.
Anyway – it’s a really neat idea and kudos to Albertsons for creating the Coupon Exchange and donating all that counter space to help us save a buck!
