I’d say there is a new Sheriff in town…but it’s actually a Police Chief and he’s serving in an “acting Police Chief” capacity while our current Chief remains out on medical leave.
Formerly Retired Metropolitan Police Deputy Chief Bill Conger stepped into the role on Wednesday morning and brings with him 29 years of police experience…23 years of it in leadership roles. Boulder City Police Chief Thomas Finn’s medical leave of absence expires on April 16th – so we’re potentially looking at up to another month before we have new developments in the BCPD leadership situation.
