The 10th Annual Best Dam Barbecue Challenge is this weekend – but it’s on Friday afternoon/evening (from 4pm-10pm) and all day on Saturday (from 9am-6pm) in Bicentennial Park – so don’t wait until the latter half of the holiday weekend or you’ll miss the good grub!
37 professional barbecue teams began rolling into town this afternoon (Thursday) to get ready for the competition that starts tomorrow night (Friday) and runs until mid-day on Saturday. Yes, they literally stay up all night long babying their entries in Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Brisket!
