It seems that major changes took place a few weeks ago at the Boulder City Animal Shelter when Animal Control Supervisor Mary Jo Frazier resigned and then departed her position.
As many of you know, Boulder City Social has worked closely with the Animal Shelter throughout this past year, and more specifically, Officer Ann Inabnitt to help animals either be reunited with their families or get adopted into their forever homes – so we’re both looking forward to not only continuing these efforts, but expanding our partnership.
Because there is only one Animal Control Officer in the department now, the shelter has reverted back from being open 7 days a week to 5 days a week (from 7am – 3pm), but the goal is to be open additional days when they are fully staffed once again.
It’s a brand new day up on Yucca Dr. and we look forward to bringing you updates on more great things to come for both the animals and our community … hope everyone will help by supporting this new direction!
