Oh, it’s been a long time coming, but I FINALLY have some info for you on what Milo Hurst has planned for the lot he’s been developing at the corner of Nevada Way and Wyoming Street!
Crews have been busy of late … the grass has been laid, the water fountain is flowing and the fire pit is ready … but to what end? I’ll tell ya. It’s to be donated for use by community groups (charities, kids’ clubs, teams, etc.) as a location for events they can use as fundraisers. Free. Yep, I said it … free.
Not only that, but Milo confirmed yesterday that he will sponsor up to one organization’s event per month to host a fundraiser and the first one is being held this coming Saturday from 6-9pm for the Boulder City High School’s Rodeo Club, so mark your Saturday night as booked (more info on that event in tomorrow’s post).
