The “Great American Cleanup” is coming up on Saturday, April 2nd (2016) and volunteers are not only invited to assist staff in a litter clean-up, but greatly appreciated!
This year’s clean-up will be a site in the Boulder Basin area of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area (specific site TBD). Registration will start at 8:00 AM, and the event will go from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The National Park Service is hoping to recruit close to 150 volunteers between individuals, families, and groups … so if you are interested and able to join the fun, please register with Alissa Demmer via email by CLICKING HERE.
