Ch-ch-ch-changes! Good song and also relevant to how we’ll be handling the Business Bulletin going forward…
We WERE planning to gather up all the news and deals for bi-monthly posts, but it only took two weeks to realize our plan wasn’t flexible enough to bring you the latest news and deals that businesses rolled out mid-month. For instance, Bloom had a sale on everything red on the Saturday before Valentine’s Day and Milo’s Cellar and Inn held a Sweetheart Giveaway for a free night at their bed & breakfast, neither of which we could effectively share because they came out after Feb. 1st. Drat!
The solution? We created a whole new section called “Business News” (as opposed to our daily “Town Happenings” posts) so that we can pass along news and deals throughout the entire month. You can access the Business News section from the top menu under News > Business News Bulletin (or just CLICK HERE) and you’ll also find the most recent 5 posts below the partner ads in the right-hand sidebar.
This will hopefully be a better way to keep the info & deals flowing from businesses to BC Social Fans and if not, we’ll tweak things again until we achieve the goal of perfection!
