A few things to note from the library this month:
Summer Hours
Summer hours kick off on Sunday, May 28th (which is Memorial Day weekend), so the library will be closed on Sunday, May 28th & Monday, May 29th (the Memorial Day holiday). Summer hours run through Labor Day weekend in September, FYI.
Help Name the Library Mascot!
Starting May 1st, the library will be having a contest to name their new mascot. He’ll be hanging out in the display case for everyone to see and instructions will be posted on how to enter. Please keep those entries family friendly!
Outdoor Movie in the Amphitheater
The library will be showing La La Land (Rated PG-13) in the amphitheater on Friday, May 12th at 8pm. Please feel free to bring comfy chairs, blankets, and snacks for the movie. There will be snacks available for donation.
Gettin’ Crafty
Wednesday, May 10th @ 10 & 3 PM: Mothers’ Day Craft Hours
Saturday, May 13th @ 1 PM: Adult Craft – Sugar Scrubs: Sign up to make the perfect gift for Mother’s Day! Ages 12+, Board Room, $5 craft fee. Sign-ups required at the information desk.
Storytime is on hiatus for May.
