Next Monday, November 6th from 6-8pm at the Boulder Creek Golf Club, there will be the second Boulder City Think Tank hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. (Note: this is a different location from the last meeting!)
In case you didn’t hear about the first even last August, let’s recap some basics:
What is a ‘Think Tank’ you ask? It’s defined as “a body of experts providing advice and ideas on specific economic problems.”
With the coming of the Interstate 11 interchange, Jill Lagan, CEO of the Chamber, created the first Think Tank event to bring the community together to brainstorm on what makes Boulder City special, and marketable.
And WOW, did the community ever show up! Jill says, “There were lots of great ideas that were taken down, and a variety of action committees were created out of that list. Next week’s event will be a progress report on what’s been accomplished so far as we consolidate those ideas into actionable plans, where possible.”
She emphasizes that even if you missed the first Think Tank, don’t be a stranger at this one – all are welcome!
The Boulder Creek Golf Club is located at 1501 Veteran’s Memorial Drive.
