Today June 14th (2022), is the day to Vote! You can vote in person at either of the two voting centers starting at 7am thru 7pm. Any registered voter can visit either center in Boulder city at:
- Boulder City Parks and Recreation Center, 900 Arizona Street
- Martha P. King Elementary School, 888 Adams Boulevard
If you vote in-person instead of by mail, you will need to either surrender your mail ballot at a designated voting site (preferably in the packet sent to you) or sign an affirmation at the voting site swearing that you have not already voted in the current election. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by 7 p.m. June 14, and those results will be tabulated through June 18.
Early voting tallies for Boulder City so far are:
- Tuesday, June 7 – 334
- Wednesday, June 8 – 268
- Thursday, June 9 – 233
- Friday, June 10 – 334
- TOTAL Early Votes: 1,169
According to Tami McKay, the Boulder City Clerk here are the processes that will be in place:
The first release of results will be posted when the NV Secretary of State reports to all counties that all polls are closed in Nevada. The first report will include all mail ballots, received through June 13, 2022, and all early voting results from the 14-day period. Subsequent reports will include in-person Election Day results throughout the night as they are returned to the election center. All results will be unofficial until the canvass is completed on June 24, 2022.
The links for Clark County results and the link for the Secretary of States results will be available on their respective websites, as well as the City’s website.
As a reminder, it’s possible final unofficial results may not be available until late that night and possibly into the early hours on June 15, 2022.
Each day thereafter, voted mail ballots postmarked on or before Election Day will be collected and processed through the last mail pick-up day on June 18, 2022. I [City Clerk] will provide daily mail ballot results.
We will watch the returns come in this evening and release to all of you the results as we can, when we can. Boulder City, if you haven’t yet voted by any of the methods available to you – go do that today and make your voices heard!
