Sunday, August 21, 2022 is National Senior Citizen Day. In observance of the day, the Boulder City Senior Center will celebrate all month by hosting a Senior Olympics and having five theme days to dress up on Wednesdays. There will also be a special luncheon on Friday, August 19th.
As mentioned, on Wednesdays all month, the Senior Center is encouraging attendees to dress up. The Wednesday theme days are as follows:
- August 3: Western
- August 10: Beach Party
- August 17: Casino
- August 24: Fancy Formal
- August 31: Sports
On Saturday, August 19 the Senior Center is hosting the first Senior Olympics. First place will win $100 and second place will win $50. The last place finisher will receive a week’s worth of lunches and a surprise gift!
