It’s spooky season and the Friends of the Nevada Southern Railway have announced the schedule for the new Train of Terror! event at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, located at 600 Yucca Street. The event is rated PG-13 and is not recommended for younger children.
Riders will learn more about the mystery of the Nevada Test Site on this 90-minute trek both on and off the tracks. Tickets are sold online only and can be found by CLICKING HERE. Members will receive a discount on tickets. There are limited spots available so make sure to book early to avoid missing out on the Halloween adventure. The train will run on the following dates:
- September 30
- October 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30
Ticket prices are $50 for first class seating and $35 for general admission seating. First class ticket holders will board first and have their choice of seating (open air carriage or enclosed seating) and receive a “HAZMAT” suit. They will board ten minutes before General Admission ticket holders. All ticket holders must check in at the Provisions tent prior to boarding. All seating, including ADA seating, must be purchased online. Boarding times are at 5:30PM and 7:30PM. Please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance of departure for check-in and early boarding,
