The USA Cycling governing body has promoted the DVO Nevada State Championships of the Winter Gravity Series (WGS) to the DVO Southwest Regional Championships. The southwest region includes Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and California. The winner of the Downhill (DH), Enduro, and Dual Slalom will be crowned champions of the Southwest United States and earn USA Cycling points for the event. Boulder City is once again home to the championship, hosting the event up at Bootleg Canyon.
The race will take place Friday, January 20 thru Sunday, January 22, 2023. More information about the event, including registration information, can be found HERE.
Spectators can watch the racers compete for FREE beginning at 1:30PM on Friday. There are several different categories for racers, including Adult Men, Adult Women, Girls and Boys. The racers are compete with others in their racing class and age group.
