We begin a new decade with lots of fun stuff happening at our very strong, local Boulder City Library. Thank you to the Director, staff and all of the other volunteers who help make this such a special anchor to our community. As always you can see the full list of their events HERE, and below we’ve listed some of the highlights on their schedule:
January 1 – Library Closed New Years Day.
January 3 – 12pm Swap It Like Its Hot: All Ages, Board Room. Bring in clean, lightly used, but no longer wanted items New Years Week. Then join us on Friday the 3rd for a swapping party!
January 10 – 5:30pm After Hours Movie: Downton Abbey (PG): All Ages, Community Room.
January 18 – 1pm Makin’ Bacon Cooking Class: Ages 16+, Community Room. Sign up at the Information Desk to learn how to make delicious bacon! 2pm Unblocking the Writer Group: Ages 18+, Board Room. Join us for a new writer’s group!
January 24 – 5:30pm After Hours Movie: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (R): Ages 18+, Community Room.
January 30 – 6pm Karaoke: Ages 18+, Community Room. Warm up your vocal chords this winter for Adult Karaoke! Thousands of songs to pick from. No registration required. For more information, call: 702-293-1281
