Some crazy weather this week and we heard rumors on the Facebook page: (1) that there was a Flash Flood on Avenue B and (2) a Channel 13 Action News van was in the hood…so we were wondering if the two were connected.
I watched the news (well, with one eye already closed), but didn’t see anything on there. Also checked their website and although I didn’t find out anything about the flood — there WAS a story about the apparent ‘pipe bomb’ on Fairway last weekend…you can read about that by clicking here.
Here’s what I have to say about the stupidity of a prank like that: Let’s assume the poor homeowner didn’t see the metal container containing explosives and backed out of his garage, running over it. I believe that little pipe bomb just became a full-fledged car bomb. Pretty stupid prank, if you ask me!
