The Annual P.E.O. Chapter K Holiday Boutique will be taking place this Saturday, November 19th from 8:00am to 2:00pm at the Senior Center of Boulder City (813 Arizona Street).
They’ll have raffle prizes, plants, a bake sale, vintage items, hand-knitted and hand-crocheted gift items, holiday crafts and home decor…with all profits benefiting local and national women’s scholarships.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and stewardship of Cottey College; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. Today, Nevada boasts 38 local chapters and over 1400 active members throughout the state. The Boulder City chapter was founded in 1945, by the way!
