If you’ve been anywhere in the vicinity of where Adams meets Buchanan lately – you’ve probably seen the new signs that See Spot Run has built to recognize sponsors of the dog park.
There is one at the “driving entrance” on Veteran’s Memorial Drive (pictured top left) and a matching one on the “walking entrance” on Buchanan. Then, there’s a third “wooden” version (pictured middle left) at the entrance to the dog park.
After a couple of BC Social Fans emailed me for the scoop, I reached out to See Spot Run via a post on their Facebook page (which you can become a Fan of by clicking here) to find out a price and time frame on the sponsorship level that gets you sign placement. See Spot Run says that they are looking at either 6 months or yearly placements and that they hope to have lights on the signs fairly soon. They promise to let everyone know just as soon as decisions have been made…so I’ll keep an eye out for ya — or, if any of ya’ll happen to find out — feel free to let me know so we can share it with everyone!
I was at the dog park recently and noticed that the paver stones that used to be at the entrance (on the ground) have been moved to awesome looking planter boxes…that’s probably better for their longevity with traffic and water run-off, I’m guessing. They are the bottom left photos and look very nice….so if you are looking to support the park in a smaller way than street signage, you can always consider dedicating a paver stone.
SSR’s Facebook page also says that they’ve got night lighting installed now…so things are certainly coming along over there!
