There are just less than two weeks until the auditions for BC’s Got Talent — they’ll be held on Saturday, April 21st, 2012 beginning at 9am over at the LA Water & Power Building (600 Nevada Way).
This year, auditions are BY APPOINTMENT – so be sure to fill out the application (available at the Chamber of Commerce or by clicking here)…then call Carla at 292-4411 to schedule your audition time. Bring this application and your entry fee of $10 to the audition.
There will be two age categories: 16 and under and 17 and older. A piano will be provided and other equipment or musical instruments are the entrant’s responsibility.
Boulder Dam Credit Union is generously sponsoring this event with First, Second, and Third place cash prizes in both the youth and adult category…nice!
The annual talent show will be held on May 19th in the amphitheater of the Boulder City Library and is free to attend. Money raised from the sale of popcorn and drinks at the show goes toward the free concerts that Friends of the Arts host throughout the year.
