You know, it was pretty stinkin’ cold this last weekend, but I happened to be driving through Veterans Memorial Park and saw a lot of action at the See Spot Run Dog Park.
I stopped to see what was happening and amusingly — it was nothing. Just a lot of people braving the cold so their dogs could get some exercise and play with their four-legged friends.
Then I saw this plaque near the entrance and it reminded me of the YEARS of tireless hard work Margaret and Bob Kolar put into making the dog park a reality. So I just thought I’d give them a shout out, several years down the road…after watching a dozen dogs having the time of their life in the middle of a winter freeze!
