Here’s an update for you on the demolition of Boulder City High School’s 300 building and part of the 200 building.
Clark County School District will issue the “Notice to Proceed” for the project on December 15th (2015) after which the contractor will take several weeks to mobilize equipment and trench for data support.
Their estimate is that the demolition of the existing buildings will take place in mid-February and the new school should be completed in Summer 2017.
This is a Clark County School District construction project (not City of Boulder City) and CCSD has said they will provide contact information for their Public Information Officer in the very near future so that the public will have the opportunity to be heard and to receive updates regarding this construction project. Of course, I’ll post that here for ya as soon as it comes my way!
