The 3rd annual Rock, Roll & Stroll fundraiser to benefit Meals on Wheels and other Senior Center programs will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 11am-2pm at Bicentennial Park in Boulder City.
Last year, around 34,500 older adults in Nevada were fed through meal programs including the one here at the Senior Center of Boulder City. Over 16,000 seniors in Nevada were provided with food through home delivered meal programs such as Meals on Wheels. While the senior population and need continues to increase, the funding does not. To keep these programs going and ensure no senior citizen goes hungry or forgotten in Boulder City, we need your help.
We will be “rocking” in rocking chairs and “rolling & strolling” in the park to raise funds and awareness for these great programs. Join us as a participant and donate pledge money as you rock, roll & stroll or come and enjoy the free entertainment and kids zone! Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
