Here’s your handy dandy info about Boulder City’s Christmas Tree Recycling Program for this year!
- The drop-off is once again located in the parking lot north of Bravo Field at the corner of Eagle Drive and Sixth Street (see map below)
- Residents may drop off trees at this site 24 hours a day from now through January 14th, 2018 (please cut trees over five feet tall in half)
- Trees must be free of all lights, tinsel, ornaments, etc. (foreign materials can ruin the chipping machine when the trees are ground up)
- Trees with artificial snow cannot be recycled (non organic-materials are not good for mulch and compost mixtures)
Also available (for the serious gardener green-thumb types) is fresh mulch if you’re willing to drive over to Henderson. It’s a nice way to stay green in your own backyard.
