For the past 4 or 5 years, the Boulder City Community Blood Drive has been going strong…collecting between 45 and 50 units of blood each drive. Shall we see if we can’t get the word out and help them break their record next Thursday?
The Community Blood Drive is held four times per year and this is the second one for 2011 — so let’s have a strong showing! It will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 1:00pm – 7:00pm at 916 Fifth Street…that’s right across from Boulder City High School (in the gymnasium of the LDS Chapel, who has very generously offers the space for the drive).
United Blood Service is the organization handling the collection and Lee McDonald is coordinating the effort, so if you’d like more information, please contact Lee directly at (702) 795-8335.
