So now you are wondering what “In 12 Days” is…right? It was something I saw on the news last week and they ended the piece with “and In 12 Days will be at St. Jude’s in Boulder City tomorrow for the “Three French Hens”…so you know I had to reach out to my peeps at the Ranch for us!
In 12 Days is a charity organization, led by a Henderson mom named Suzanne Lea, that surprises people in need on each of the 12 days leading up to Christmas with a gift that follows the traditional Christmas song.
The news story I saw was a dump truck filled with Dove Chocolates and inflatable turtles for kids…for “2 turtle doves” and after finding the videos on You Tube — the St. Jude’s gift was a full turkey dinner for the staff in honor of “3 French Hens”.
Apparently, last year 1,000 volunteers brought the 12 Days of Christmas to the 80 foster children at St. Jude’s Ranch — pretty cool.
