Heck, you can’t turn on the news without hearing the latest update on the Fiscal Cliff — so let’s jump on the bandwagon and talk about it here, too!
I just ran across an interesting article (from Dec. 10th) on the Las Vegas Review Journal’s website that reviews how the National Park Service could face huge cuts under either a last-minute deal or automatic deductions if there isn’t a last-minute deal…you can read the entire article by clicking here.
The article says, among other things, some cool facts about Lake Mead that I didn’t know…for instance, the National Park Service manages almost 400 sites and that Lake Mead has the sixth highest total number of visitors (6.4 million last year).
