I have an idea and it’s a cool one. BC businesses often want to post their Facebook pages, promotions, specials, giveaways, etc. to Boulder City Social, but I’ve always had to discourage too much of it…otherwise, BC Social is less about social chit-chat and more a marketing/sales page for local business.
But then it occurred to me that I COULD create a regular post each weekend to feature a local Facebook page in hopes that ya’ll will support them with a “Like”. And THEN…we can open up the comments on THAT post for any Boulder City business or organization to comment with their special, promotion, discount, event, etc.!
The fans will get info from a bunch of local businesses all in one place and businesses will have a place to reach out to our pretty large audience now and local groups get to share what they’re up to. I think that’s called a “Win-Win-Win”!
And Fans – know that EVERY business appreciates it when you “Like” their Facebook page (or follow them on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) — so you can always support them that way, even if you don’t make it in their doors very often! Any questions?
