Did you see the story on the news the other night that some hospital emergency rooms are so over-run with potential flu patients, they’re asking people to go to Urgent Care Centers instead?
Well, it’s a good thing a brand new Urgent Care opened up here in Boulder City one month ago today!
With Dr. Alex Vaisman, DO as Medical Director, Physicians Urgent Care is located over in Red Mountain Plaza at 1651 Nevada Hwy. They have 4 treatment rooms and specialize in urgent care and pain management.
They’ll soon begin holding a podiatry clinic twice a month (by the end of January), as well as an in-house pharmacy and they plan on moving into cardiology in February/March.
They currently accept most major insurance companies (and are adding more as people come in) and here’s a big one: they accept both Medicare and Medicaid.
