Hey, we have a new sweet-smellin’ shop that’s just opened up here in Boulder City! The Boulder City Soap & Candle Company features a whole host of neat handmade things, from soap and bath bombs to candles and lip balm. And their labels all say “Boulder City Soap & Candle Company”, so they make for really great gifts with our town’s name on them … love that!
Shop owner and soap maker (although I think we should call her a ‘master soap mixologist’) Kim Taggard has been making all this goodness for years and selling it online under the name “Ellie Marie Soap Company”, but only recently decided to re-brand and open up her store. Her place is adorable and located at 1400 Colorado Street (Suite B) … right next to The White Porch. She’ll be open on Fridays and Saturdays only from 10am to 6pm. Enjoy and don’t forget about me when the holidays roll around and she has gift baskets!! [wink! wink!]
