So exciting! Although I spent most of the week working out kinks instead of tricking the new website out with fun features. But the upside to that is that there are still fun things to come! There’s more tweaking to be done, I know … but I didn’t want to keep the site offline any longer, so I’ll keep noodling on fixing those in the coming days.
The biggest change in the Boulder City Social website (besides the new look) is that it’s ‘responsive’, meaning it displays differently depending on your screen size (i.e. desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile). So all the mobile users (and there are a lot of you) will love that.
The other new feature already in place is called “What’s Coming Up Next” and you’ll find it at the bottom of every post (like this one). These are the solution for all the folks (again, many of you) who have asked me for a space where they can advertise events to the BC Social audience. They are paid ads to cover the time it takes me to do the artwork and load them up/down and if you’re looking for more info on the cost/time run, you can find that by clicking here).
Anyway – hope you like the new site! This one should last us for awhile!
