I ALREADY know a couple of wives who aren’t handing over the auction paddles to their hubbies when it comes time to bid on some Wurstfest auction items this coming Saturday (September 24th, 2016) and hubbies, you know who those wives are!
I’ve seen this year’s live auction book and among the 50 items are a Honda motorcycle, an MD50 scooter moped, a Polaris Magnum 330 ATV and yes, a 2016 Segway (never mind the Volvo S60, the GMC truck and the Lincoln Navigator), so you’ll want to be ready with cash in hand when the auction starts at 4pm! Note that the silent auction will be going on under the tent all day, as in past years.
There’s also some SERIOUS expansion for the beer offerings this year. From Noon to 5pm, the taps will open at the first ever Wurstfest Biergarten with dozens of craft beers from ten different breweries. Guests buy the Official wristband and souvenir glass before heading in to sample unlimited beer from the likes of Gordon Biersch, Indian Wells, 3 Monkeys, College Street, No Limit, Sierra Nevada and 4 more breweries! Tickets at the gate will be $40, but you can buy wristbands at a discount in advance for $30 by CLICKING HERE.
Other big changes this year are that there will be 8 Food Trucks and a Kids Zone, complete with a bounce house, fun slide, etc. More info in the flyer below for ya!
