We’re SUPER excited to see our friends from Rhode Island come back to Boulder City so that we can have our Rail Explorers again! Above, that’s CEO Mary Joy Lu, and her husband and Co-Owner Alex Catchpole, and they’re almost ready to get rolling again here in Boulder City!
Rail Explorers are located at the Southern Nevada Railroad Museum, at 601 Yucca Street. Opening rides will be on January 5th, 2019 (although they just finished a super-secret trip into town…OK…not really super secret…) and they’ll be getting set up during the month of December. Most importantly though – and ultra cool if you ask us – is how much they love us locals! So much so, that every Nevada resident gets a 15% discount when you ride the Rail Explorers! Tickets can already be booked on their web site, and they also want you to know that they DO have Gift Certificates available…hm…stocking suffers anyone?!?
If you missed the opportunity to ride with them this past year, make sure you find time to do it in 2019! It really is an enjoyable excursion and its a great way to see this lovely desert area we call home, from a completely unique perspective. Your ticket price generally includes a ride back on the train, although we hear they will be coming up with some new programs this year.
