Well, isn’t this a cool shot of some local wildlife? Today’s Fan Photo is brought to us by one of our favorite photographers, Peter Starkweather. According to Peter, this is a charismatic Desert Iguana (Dipsosaurus dorsalis) spotted along the Black Mountain Hiking Trail! With the warmer weather, be on the lookout for more creatures like these, as well as snakes aka nope ropes, hanging out along trails, in backyards, near pools, down at the Lake…basically everywhere! This is the time of year we have to be especially conscious of sharing our world with the wildlife around us.
