8. The Skinny Bar! Opened earlier this year, this latest venture from local Grant Turner had us talking! This swank new hangout certainly made it’s mark in downtown Boulder City.

10. The New Owners and the Plans at 1404 Colorado: Quite the controversy got stirred up earlier this year when rumors started flying that this office building might become a homeless shelter. That wasn’t true, and we introduced you to the new owners and shared the real plans for the building.
11. The Damboree Events for 2024: Boulder City does Independence Day right! Our favorite day includes the parade and fireworks each year, and you’re always hungry to know the planned activities and when they start.
12. Boulder City Social Is Now BoulderCity.com. This cracks us up! Because we put this out over 6 years ago on September 17, 2017, but this year it still ranked in the top 20. Go figure.
13. The Opening of Restaurant 1933: This iconic restaurant has already become a new staple of downtown’s eateries. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we love it, the location and so do all of you!

15. The Christmas House: Each year we give you a peek at what’s in store for you at the famous House on Fifth! Dale and Dyanah never dissapoint, and you always want to know when the lights come on so that we can all enjoy this local treasure for the Holiday Season!
16. Boulder City’s Nature Trail and Discovery Garden. Well isn’t this a hoot! All the way back in 2017 our friend and guest columnist Noreen Kenny wrote up a great article about this local walking trail. It’s a locals and visitors fav so we’re so glad to see it being searched and viewed to this day!

19. Early Election Results for Boulder City: The June Primary early election results were a top story for the year, as we saw one incumbent City Council seat assigned, a new Judge elected and also the stage was set for a run off for the final election seat for November.
