Things get started tonight and run through the weekend as Boulder City kicks off our Small Town Christmas celebrations in style!
Thursday, November 30th
Starting at 6pm is the Luminaria and Las Posadas at the Recreation Center. Enjoy school choirs, local singers, a living nativity, hot chocolate and Christmas carol sing-a-long.
Friday December 1st
Things kick off at the Ryan-Musgrave Family home at “The House on Fifth Street” where at 5:15pm will be the ‘big reveal’ of their annual Christmas lights. It’s everyone’s favorite home and Santa and Jingle Cat will be there too! (Get there early, more details on this for ya tomorrow!)
The Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at Frank Crowe Park follows at 6pm. Join Jingle Cat in lighting the tree along with the usual small town festivities. Bring a canned food item to benefit Emergency Aid.
Also at this event will be the FREE Fancy Hot Coco Bar sponsored by The Homestead of Boulder City, the Rotary Club of Boulder City, the Chamber of Commerce and Girl Scout Troupe 076 will have cookies!
Cap off the night with a performance from Dance Etc. starting at 7:30 over at the Boulder Dam Theatre, showing “A Polar Express Dance Extravaganza”.
Saturday December 2nd
We hope you’re not worn out yet, because from 9am-4pm at the Boulder City Parks & Rec. Center is the 43rd Annual Doodlebug Craft Bazaar. Treat yourself or get you shopping done with tons of homemade items.
Also at the Old Gym Stage will be Santa’s Picture Party from 11am-2pm where your kiddos can get pictures with Santa and a free coloring book.
Finally, is the town favorite Santa’s Electric Night Parade, which kicks off at 4:30pm.
They’ll have fun and fancy floats, bands and fun performances of all kinds. We’ve got the sneak peek line-up for ya HERE.
